building consumes most of the energy used over its lifetime while
it is in standby mode.

Consider that in a five-stop residential building, an elevator making an
average of 200 trips per day is actually in motion for only a little over one hour.

For this reason, the K-Planet indoor elevator for homes and offices has been
designed using solutions that minimise energy consumption even when the
elevator is in standby mode, achieving Class A standby performance in
accordance with the stringent German VDI 4707 standard.

K-Planet consumes less than 40 W in standby mode. To achieve this result,
every possible source of electrical consumption is automatically switched
into a low-power state a few minutes after the last trip, extending the service
life of the system and reducing operating costs.

K-Planet operates on a 400 V three-phase power supply; alternatively,
a 230 V single-phase version is available.

A K-Planet elevator can reduce energy consumption by up to 50% compared
with traditional geared lifting systems and by up to 70% compared with
hydraulic systems.

K-Planet requires no machine room, making it particularly suitable as a home
elevator and allowing significant space savings.

The KAPPA-SYSTEM control system, based on sophisticated and reliable
digital technology, manages all peripheral devices through a latest-generation
CAN BUS serial system.

The system control module, installed inside the landing door jamb, is extremely
compact and perfectly integrated.

The equipment access system ensures fast and easy maintenance and emergency
servicing when required, while keeping the equipment inaccessible and
protected during normal operation.

The stainless-steel control systems with LED backlighting ensure an
exceptionally long service life.

LCD information displays in the cabin and on each floor provide maximum functionality.
All controls feature raised numbers and illuminated Braille characters, making
them simple and intuitive to use, including for people with visual impairments.

The suspension ropes of the K-Planet indoor elevator are manufactured from special,
extremely high-quality materials and certified to the highest current safety standards.
Their flexibility and wear resistance provide performance levels that traditional
systems cannot achieve.

Combined with deflection sheaves made from advanced engineering polymers,
they ensure long service life while providing maximum ride comfort.

An innovative monitoring system checks their efficiency on every trip and informs
maintenance technicians of their wear condition.

Replacement can therefore be scheduled according to the actual use
of the system.
